Hoku Relay Beneficiary – Volunteer!

Aloha all!

Hope your New Year is off to a great start!

I’m excited to share with you… FOCH was selected to be a beneficiary of the upcoming HOKU RELAY (134-mile race around Oahu) that raises funds for local nonprofits that support children in our community. This 24-hour Relay race is scheduled for Sat/Sun, Feb. 16-17, 2019 and is made up of teams of runners that have committed to raising funds for eight non-profits, including FOCH. In return, we will be staffing various Race Checkpoints/Relay Stations (Kapolei & North Shore) and are asking our CASA and YOU to volunteer with us; so, please join us if you can. See how easy… no one has to run the race! All we need is people to help us cheer these runners on that are raising funds for our CASA Keiki!!! Plus, we’ll have a CASA Base Camp at Kuilima/Turtle Bay for food, fun and rest before/after we do those Checkpoints.

In addition, HOKU RELAY has set up a FUNDRAISING PAGE for us! All funds raised on our page will be earmarked for FOCH!!!! We haven’t had any response so far!☹ So, if you could help us spread the word; that would be great!! It’s on Facebook and was sent to all CASA on 01/23/19. I’ll reach out to our CASA folks again next week..
