Webinar – What Makes a Good Hearing?

This webinar will discuss research examining judicial decision-making and hearing quality in child welfare cases and why court and legal professionals should be aware of research findings—especially those related to courtroom practices— while working to build the evidence base.

Join us to: Identify ways that court and legal professional practice can influence hearing quality and judicial decision-making. Learn how addressing gaps in the research can further understanding of how judicial decision-making and quality hearings relate to case processing and outcomes. Discuss why court and legal professional involvement in and support of research examining judicial decision-making and hearing quality can lead to improved outcomes for children and families.
